Yes, people actually did do Fan Zine in a form of a booklet years ago, but just like Sheribabe just mentioned, that was back before computers came out, and taht was a long time ago now. And if I am Not mistaken, I do believe that Sheribabe may have had a little help every now and then with a few of her articles and band photo's (via photo passes and the such) when Sheribabe did have that Duran Duran fan zine! And if I also remember correctly, she also had someone else, another friend help her out every now and then too. (Hint, HINT.....can you say Khristy and someone else that you knew way back then???) Anyway, their was also that online website out there for a while too that was also under the same name. But that was then and this is now. Would I like to see the band preform again in concert? The answer is, Yes, but only with my close friends. I'd like to go see the band in concert again hopefully with my two beautiful friends, and I think they both know who they are, that's one thing I do know for sure. Yes, I'd really like to go again to see them, but I'm just not exactly sure on how this will all fall into place as of yet. God knows that I've already seen the guys in concert about 7 times before in the past, not to mention actually seeing them during a special meet and greet session. And to be honest with you, meeting the band was great, but being able to actually meet the band with your real friends whom you love, only makes that kindof thing that much better! And I have always really cared a lot about my friends too. With that said, may the Love for the band continue to live on, and may the new album do well. Sheribabe, Thankyou for posting the question and thanks for reading this message too. :) May Duran Duran Live Long And Prosper!!!! :D

Wow! You got to meet them at a meet and greet? Lucky you! Were they nice or did they rush you? If you buy that ticket to MAYBE meet the band are there ever times that you don't and then you're out all that money for the ticket? I would love to meet them and have a photo op. I still love them to this day. I think now that Roger is back with them they sound more like the old Duran Duran. I never got to see all 5 together in the 80's but luckily I got to see them all a couple years ago before Andy quit for the second time. Anyways, I will always be their fan and will continue to buy albums and go to concerts for as long as they have them.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. I met the guys a few times and they are truly great people. I hope to see them again soon. I really need to get back into their music again and see another show. They have new music out. I really miss them!!!!

I belonged to a few fan clubs for them and I am still a fan; their newer stuff doesn't have the same appeal to me as Seven & The Ragged Tiger or Arena but those were different times lol. The good old days of fanzines, oh my, what a wicked flashback that is. Spending hours cutting and pasting then going to the printers with the final proofs. It was really a lot of fun making them and when you had people say good things about them, it made it all worth while!
