What was your favorite pet?

My all time favorite pet is a small house dog. I have always had poodles because I have asthma and poodles don't seem to bother me and I have always had excellent luck with them and the last one I had lived to be about 16 years old. After doing lots of homework on reading up on dogs I learnt I should be OK with the Maltese. I do notice the effect sometimes but for the most part I am fine with the Maltese. They are an expensive dog, my husband took his income tax cheque to buy ours but we would never part with our puppy. Thank You !!!

Many years ago, I had a raccoon. I didn't keep it more than two months, but it was my favorite because raccoons are my favorite wild animal. I decided to release him in a friend's backyard because it seemed cruel to keep him indoors. He would look out the window and appeared to long to be outside. I didn't want it running in and out so I decided to let him out. He visits my friend's parents regularly and they love his little visits. They get to feed them out of their hand.
