Ever waited in line to have someone cut in front of you and then laugh at you?

I was in line in a grocery waiting patiently to check out and had a biker push my cart back to cut in front of me and then laugh because they think they can get away with it. Boy, does that make me angry. In this case, I looked at the checker and said "Are you going to allow this man to do this?" Of course, she just shrugged and looked at me with what do you expect me to do about it. The guy was big and I'm not a little woman. He just looked at me and said, "What ya goin' to do about it lady?" Well, I pulled my cart out of line and went to the service desk. Unfortunately, by the time the manager appeared the biker was on his way out of the store. The manager tried to appease me with some verbal "Calm down, it will be alright." It has been many years since I'd been that angry. Finally, the only thing I could do was just get in another line and check out. However, when I went to my car, the biker was sitting on his bike not to far from my car. He saw me and just started laughing all over again. I got in my car, prayed and just waited until he was long gone. I knew if I was on the road, I would probably practice road rage preferably on him. What would you have done? What would you have expected the grocery store clerk or manager to do? How would you have handled it?

I would have confronted him. The clerk should have refused to help and helped you first. Thats what I would have done. Or at least ask you if it was okay for her to help him first which obviously it wasnt. If I really had the time I would have just left everything there in the cart and went to another store. You could always call their corporate office.

I did confront him, and he just laughed. I went to the store manager and found out the corporate policy. So.....I don't shop there anymore. I wasn't as bothered in the store, as when I went to my car and he was still there giving me that attitude in looks and laughter. It is a shame that people like him get away with their behavior more times than not. Personally, if I had been a cashier I would have closed my drawer and called the manager. But that isn't the way they instruct their cashiers to handle people like him. I guess they think it is better to just not make a bigger hassle than it already was. It has already drawn attention from other customers around us. But obviously it didn't change anything.

I would have casually picked up a can of what ever I had in the cart and smacked him in the mouth with it. Then I would have stomped him into a bloody pulp. I wouldn't stand for it. The fact that they were a biker would have been a bigger trophy for me.
I am one of the reasons why you don't cut in front of people. Eventually you will meet someone like me.

lol.......I'm not willing to go to jail for assault. However, as you could tell from my message, I really wanted to watch him fall off his bike in traffic. Fortunately, I have a lot of cool biker friends who are in most cases more polite than the normal person. But this one, is the type that give bikers a bad name. I've been known in the past, in my younger days to be a bit like you, but I've learned there really aren't any winners in a fight, usually both people get hurt. At my age, however, it would be satisfying to smack him with my cane....lol.

LOL You are partially correct. There are no winners in a fight. But the next person they are going to cut in front of is the true winner because they will not take the same chance as the last time they cut the line.
I am too old to fight as well. That is why I would have used the can. LOL
