Do you ever wonder if you are living the life you were meant to?

Do you ever wonder if you were supposed to be living life on a different path? For instance, if we were living 100 years ago, we would be very different people than we are today, all because of our environment. Most of us would have very different hobbies (ie, not the internet).
I wonder what type of person I would be. I would like to think that I am living the same path, regardless of technology.

Hi jpetals! Usually when I watched period movies, those movies that depicts different era like for instance the 16th century ones. I do wonder while watching if I have lived in that era and imagine myself wearing those kinds of clothes and wonder if what kind of attitude and behacior I will have and will I be having another profession wherein females really don't have any career at those times. Well, just wondering too. Take care and have a ncie day!

On a lighter note, I'm happy we have hot running water now days! Being female as well is another great thing to point out... life would have been very different 100 years ago, even different that 200 years ago and so on. The only career we would have would be running in the 16th Century would likely be the household... for most anyway.

Hi jpetals, People change as society changes. 100 years ago, the English speaking world was still under the influence of the Victorian age, there was no T.V. or even radio. I doubt if I would have thought the same as I do today. By the way, a very good discussion topic. Blessings.

Thank you so much for responding. I saw that you added me as a friend, I'm honoured. :D
I think that mass media has changed so many different things. Also, the fact that we no longer have to farm our own food to insure that we don't die from starvation. Makes some of troubles today seem pretty darn petty.
