If there's anyone out there who has completed/tried an on-line degree program, please respond. How was your experience? Would you suggest it to others as alternative to attending a regular college?

I had took a distance education course when I was in college on campus because that was the only course available. I liked it much better than actually going to class and listening to a long lecture when you can just go your own pace reading the material and do the assignments needed. You don't have to listen to the person who asks question after question. You also have access to where you can call the professor or email them if you have problems. I was going to get my Master's through distance education but I can't figure out what i want to get it in. I think a lot of that distance education stuff depends on what type of college it is and if it is reputable whether or not it will carrry any weight.

Thanks for your input. I thought it would be a lot easier for me to go to a degree through an on-line program since I am working full-time, and have a part-time job, too. Also, when I am at home I usually have my 2 kids to keep me busy. But doing a college course(s) on-line would work out a lot better for my schedule right now.

I would like to do the same.I have been talking to many person and everybody loves it.you can study when you want and can be at home, where you will comfortable. I think is very good opportunity for people , who are busy to working and it's better for them to study at home.

I completely agree, which is why I've really been thinking about it lately. I think I am going to do it, it's just a matter of when right now. Thanks for you input.
