when was last time you had power failure?!

i cant pretty much remember when i had power outage...it doenst always happen here in my place, but it really sucks when it happen especially during daytime...i cant sleep when im on graveyard shift, sleep will be a luxury!

We lost power yesterday. We had a bad storm here, and it blew my cat barn over. I was actually in it, cleaning it out, and I started getting scared, and as I ran out, the building blew over. My husband said it may not have blown over, if I had shut the door. I don't know if that's true or not, if I'd have tried to shut the door, it may have taken me over with it.

2 days ago it happened. Could have been the weather, but we're not sure. We did nothing about it as it didn't go out for long. A few years ago, our power went out and it was gone for at least 3 days. It was a massive power grid failure that affected most of the province and part of the U.S. Somehow I got by on canned food or something that didn't spoil for that time.

We face this problem here in Pakistan. We face it here daily. we face loud shedding or power shut down problen in so many time with in a day. This is due to increase in population. Increase in day by day construction of buildin. This is due to the shortage of quantity o electricity and increase in demand of eletricity. Solution of this problem is to construct dames in our country. But many nationalists do not allow the government to build dam here. Electricity is one of the basic need of under development country.

Hi there. Last week we had a power cut, and this one lasted for about 1-1/2 hours... Luckily we have a portabal gas stove on hand and candles too... This doesnt happen often here, but when it does, its usually the winter months...

Hi JaMal82! We just have power failure the other day and it run for almost the whole day. The reason I was told was because great damage was done because of the heavy rains and lightnings we were experiencing in our area lately. Good thing before the evening came, electricity was back to normal. Take care and have a nice day!

perhaps last week. such an occurrence greatly affects some important works. sometimes i am working on a computer related stuffs and then suddenly the power goes off. so i figured it would be safer to install a UPS.
