When money is really tight, I concentrate on things I know are easy to make and that everyone likes and are also on sale or inexpensive. I buy store-brand whenever possible because it saves money and most store brand products are as good as the name brands. I should cut coupons but I just don't have the time and I know I would never remember to buy the right items. My sister used to do coupons in such a systemized way she would get $100 worth of groceries for $25. But she also ended up with boxes and boxes of the same things, and some never got eaten. That's a waste.

i do coupons all the time only for the necessary items that i buy every month because i usually try to sick to the same brands for quality purposes. I clip the new products especially for the kids to try as a treat and something different. Lately, the coupons have been offering more money off and some good rebate deals, so it might be worth your time to take a look.

I believe that in order to save money especially in grocery, you should make a list of the things that you need and you should stick to that list in order for you to save. And one more thing is that, you should make priorities in purchasing something. You should make sure that it's a need than it's only a want. Hope you got something from my idea.

it is a great idea to have a list of everything you need so that you don't overspend. What i try to do is make a menu and stick to just that with little or no extras. That is why i do coupons because lately i have been getting all kinds of free stuff from coupons. (like new products to try)
