Just a little over a week ago, my boyfriend's (stay with me here) stepmom's nephew was murdered. Now, he wasn't a perfect kid, but he did join a prison gang when he was in jail for a petty offense. Apparently when you're in jain it's smart to join so someone has your back. Turns out the very person who was supposed to have his back, killed him. And this was outside of jail. To make a really long and uncertain story short, this gang, called the Ayrian Brotherhood, found out that David's girlfriend was an FBI informant (she began informing them about the gang when she was in trouble with the law...that was her way out i suppose). David and his girlfriend went with his friend to, what they believed, was going swimming. Turns out, they stopped and took them both out of the car. They shot his girlfriend in the chest and face while David watched and then shot David in the head. They were both found by a girl going down to the lake to go swimming. The really messed up part is that my boyfriend's stepmom actually talked to David's killer on the phone before police picked him up. Of course, she didn't know he was the one who killed David at the time. She even asked that heartless monster to be a pallbearer and he said he'd be honored to. She asked him why did "they" have to kill David, why not just hurt him? Well, I guess she can ask HIM at the trial. Six people have been charged for capitol murder and conspiracy to commit capitol murder. May they all rot in hell. As if David's mother isn't dealing with enough...she only has 3-5 years to live. She has pulmonary fibrosis. There is no cure yet for it. Please pray for this broken family. Don't take yours for granted.
