have you experienced being discriminated at school, in your work place, when applying for a job, when you're in a social function or gathering and when you're introduced to new people? if you have, how did you deal with it? what did you do to prove them wrong for discriminating you?

Unfortunately, there has been many times where I have felt discriminated against. Problem was I was not the type to stir trouble in a couple of these, even though it was ones I could have possibly fought.
One that was not too long ago really, was being Discriminated against due to my being Diabetic. It was even part of a reason somewhere used as since I could not perform the duties required they were letting me go.
But in the past, I have been discriminated from other places due to being Diabetic and Religious reasons as well. All you can do really is just hope someone people learn from their choices to where they do not have to experience things like this firsthand for themselves and then realize what goes around does come around in time.

yes you're right about that, what goes around really does come around. i just hope that people would realize that soon so that they wouldn't be judging others. i hope they realize karma is real. i was also judged before at work because of my high blood pressure. according to them i was not fit to work since i have that. i guess some people discriminate because of IGNORANCE. if only they have researched on the issue like for example your being a diabetic and me being hypertensive, they could've realized that those are not disabilities, that a person having diabetes and high blood pressure can still perform their obligations at work and responsibilities in what ever field they are in.

i guess you're right...we live in a tough world where we have to always prove our worth...our selves to everybody even those close to us and even to our family. it's just hard to measure up to everyone's expectations just so not to be discriminated.
