Since you want to be a computer engiineer let me guide you through the course. The first year course would be a common to most of the stundents of various branches. Subjects like physics and chemistry might also be present . ALso you may have courses like network theory and electronics devices. Here you may also with deal with c and data structures.. Now the second year would have subjects like java,oops,basic unix programming. Third year will compromise with the hardware part like microprocessors and interfacing along with other programming languages like html, advance unix programming , computer organistion and operating systems. The final year will deal with high computer architechture etc. the main part of your final year would be your project.

Computer engineering covers a lot but generally it is achitectural part and this will depend on the stage and one's interests in the course. I w'd encourage u to go a head pliz.
