Do you read really long posts?

When I'm reading something I might want to respond to if the post is really long I pass it by. I'm usually a patient person but it seems my attention span is getting less and less. I don't have ADHD or anything like that and I can concentrate on what I'm doing but I just don't want to read a really long post. That person might have a really good point or useful information but I'll never know because I won't read it. Hope this post isn't too long for you.

I do read long post as long as the post is easy to read and not clustered. By this, I mean the post is structured and paragraphed. Each paragraph is at most a few lines with the appropriate punctation and spacing.
As to whether your post is too long, it is still acceptable to me, otherwise, I would not even respond :p

i do feel reluctant to read a long post at seeing it's size but i just try to read the first paragraph and on seeing that this has an important information or idea i continue and finish it. however i read it fast as i can and make sure i get the main idea.

i do the same thing. if its more than 2 paragraphs in length i usually dont even bother.
and yes i know for a fact that the longer ive been on mylot the shorter my attention span and patience for that matter, are.
i end up getting frustrated with all the drivel and unfortunatly the longer topics end up paying the price..well actually i guess i do.

Yes I read plenty of books but that's different than reading a long post online. If it's a book that I want to read I don't care how long it is but if it's a post on a message board I just don't have patience to read a long post more than three short paragraphs.
