Vermont after all. Since we have been dog sitting we weren't sure if we would be able to go see my husbands family Labor day weekend to VT(as we usually do every year)- I mean it's quite difficult enough traveling 6 hours in a car with two dogs let alone three- and one of them not even yours...LOL Thankfully our nephew came to the rescue-- he has nothing to do that weekend and since he still lives home with his parents he could use a chance to get away for a few days, he loves hanging out at our house - he can have friends over and we have a hot tub...LOL..he'll be in heaven!!!!
So anyone else have plans for this coming weekend???????

Vt was beautiful and my nephew did have friends over (how ever did you know??) but he's a good guy (he's 24 and doesn't drink) but we told him if he wanted to have friends over he could (we have a hot tub so that right there is a reason to have people over)LOL.

Oh that is wonderful then- Its nice to be able to go back and see family- and what a break for him as well- I bet he will have a couple of get-togethers with friends and the hot tub! How fun for him as well. I’m not doing much of anything- My daughter went to Florida with her dad today- and won’t be home til Tuesday—it stinks- I’ve got a lot to get done around the house though- and we have a balloon festival in town- so that will be fun too.

Well - that sounds nice - so everyone is happy, and I hope you have a great time! Unfortunately, it won't be holidays here in England next weekend - they were this weekend, and we did nothing - absolutely NOTHING!!! And it was bliss! I feel so chilled out and lazy now, that going back to work tomorrow will be a real shock to the system after 4 days at home!!! Hope you have fun on your trip anyway.

Glad you enjoyed your weekend- believe me if we weren't going to VT this weekend- we would have done exactly the same thing you did...LOL - sounds like you really needed that too-- I know I do- but it will be rush to pack- rush to drive and visit for two days and rush to drive back.. not mush relaxing for me...LOL....but I really need to get away though-- just out of my houswe away from the boys and the work in the house.

wow may i ask where you are going in vermont , we are from stowe and have moved to ohio,vt is so beautifull anytime of year, hope you have a great trip. i think we will just hang out and enjoy a barbacue, it is our fair week so im sure the grandkids will drag us there,cant miss the big topper the demo derby monday evening.
