coffee or tea...which is healthier and much more beneficial for our body?

i consider myself a coffee addict even though a lot of people tell me it's not good for me especially my doctor since i'm hypertensive. however, i really can not resist drinking coffee...in a day i make it a point that i'd have at least 2 mugs of coffee. i used to have 5 or more mugs a day but since my doctor has been advising me to cut down on my intake of coffee and that i should try tea instead of coffee. tea is okay, especially those flavored ones but really, i feel like i cannot live without coffee. there are a lot of television ads right now that are promoting coffee and according to those ads, coffee is good for our body since it acts as an antioxidant. a lot of people and many television ads are saying that tea on the other hand, specifically green tea is good for the body and that tea is much more better and a lot more beneficial for our body. of course i know that it is still best for me to know which among the two is more beneficial for our body since sooner or later, i really have to take seriously my hypertensive situation. do you think those ads are really telling the truth about the so called "benefits" of their products or is it just for advertising and marketing purposes? so which among the two, coffee or tea is really beneficial for our body?

I don't think it matters, as long as both are enjoyed in moderation. Too much of anything will make it unhealthy for a person. I prefer the taste of coffee. I like to have a cup in the morning, and a mocha latte at the cafe across the street, in the afternoons.

Green tea is beneficial to our health. Coffee has way too much caffeine.

Both of them has some health benefits for us.Let's what they are. Coffee-it is the most favourite drink of most the people for beautiful smell and taste.It brings energy to your body, but when drinking to much, can cause high blood presure.Coffee has also psychological effect and make our brain works better , when we are tired.It can also protect you against cancer, but don't drink too much.It can also helps with our memory to work better.Coffe can be also good prevention against alergies and cavities. Tea-specialy green tea has many healt benefits.It is rich on antioxidants and can protect us against cancer and cavities.Some of the research are saying also about green tea helping people who are on diet.Cup of tea should bring you energy for whole day , while it consist cofein.Only disadnavtage of drinking gree tea can be night without sleeping when we drink too much. So witch one is healthier?i think both of them.
