Never had this experience before of not receiving a SMS from my buddies. But this weekend, my boyfriend said he sent me some SMSs (we are living in different countries) but I had received NOTHING. Me and him texted before and there was no problem but he said he sent like a few texts to me on Saturday and I absolutely received nothing. How many of you have experienced not receiving a SMS before?

It depends on your carrier, some are worse than others. I am in the US and I had no problems getting texts from my ex when he was in Australlia, Canada and Japan but when I switched carriers we had a lot of text issues which ended up in "us" issues. Some carriers also don't play nice together. My friend never gets my texts with this new carrier or the ones from her boyfriend who has my same carrier.

Yes I think he actually did change something and therefore no more SMS from him! Well, it's good in a way that I don't need to pay attention to the phone again!

lol, so it gives you a break. I bet that's what the problem is, whatever he changed.

Hello wondericequeen,
Always! It always happen to me and my hubby. Well, when you talk about sending and receiving SMS from Russia to Malaysia! He has no problem receiving mine but I always have a problem receiving his SMS. Sometimes it is super fast, sometimes it takes a day or sometimes it is nothing at all! Can't figure out why!
I remember when he just went back in December last year, we smsed every night and easily ended up with 10-20 smses per night *laughs*

this things happens even here in the philippines and it usually happens because of so many users using it all the the same time. One other cause is the satellite service , it could have been affected by solar flares.

It happened to me a few times before. I assume this is because of the excessive load of traffic in the network and also faulty exchange between the two networks.

I suspect that too! Sometimes the phones are not that reliable!
