Miracles

Miracles do happen every second of our lives. The mere fact that we are living and breathing is one of the miracles one enjoys. Miracles are tagged "miracles" because they are our of the ordinary events that cannot be perceived by the rationality of the human mind. It does not follows the regular pattern as dictated by Universal Laws but just the same that event occurs. I have an experience, for me this is a miracle. We were married for almost seven years but unfortunately don't have a child. We frequently visited our OB-Gyn for a workup. The doctor said we have to undergone several operations that would cost us a lot but only increase the chances of my wife being pregnant only from 6% to 13% so we just forget the idea of my wife to be pregnant and just adopt a child as an alternative. At this point, two Brothers were promoting that the community pray and use the Perpetual Adoration Chapel (PEA). They expalined the meaining and power of prayers. We signed up to be an Adorerand we pray every Tuesday from 12 MN to 1:00 AM at the Perpetual Adoration Chapel and after several months, a regular check up with our OB-GYN, the result is my wife already 4 months pregnant. My wife did not even experienced the morning sickness or other signs of being pregnant and we even joined the wall climbing and was even involved in a car accident but to our amazement, she was pregnant and the baby is normal that Day is December 8, 2002 - A special day for us Catholics -Immaculate Concepcion. The doctor insisted that we surely did undergone the workup and operation inorder for my wife to have this pregnancy. We told her no we just prayed and our prayer was answered. She said: this is scientifically impossible for my sperm count is less than 5 thousand. You need something between 10 to 20 Millions of Sperms for a conception. My wife having an irregular menstration giving us a mere 6% chance. But Miracles do happen and I considered this as one. The intent prayers by our peers, friends and relatives just prove that science just cannot explain what just happened to us. Now, we enjoy the company of a good and witty boy named Frankie. Sometimes we blind ourselves of the things that should happen thus elliminating the existence of miracles. Yours in Christ, Ferritic
