Why does her songs have break while singing?

I mean i listened to her music and i like only "why do all good things come to an end","Maneater","Prominious girl" and other songs are little weird...can you tell me why????

Nelly Furtado is a very gifted performer.The songs you've displayed above are the ones I enjoyed most too.The others are may be not that well though out.I guess this is the reason for the wierdness you feel.
