Psalm 127:3-5 "Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."

In my opinion,if you have one child,in China, you will save a lot of money. But as to me,I want to have two child in future.Because I don't want to see that my children is alone,no sister or brother,no body can play with him/her,hehe?

maybe you can save a lot of money, as for me i dont think i can save any money, the present policy of china is not allowed you to have money for the common citizens. we are in a nation that the country is becoming more and more rich, but the citizens is relatively more and more poor. we are very poor not only in material but also in mind

Does it mean you cannot save money if you have more than one child.
I think the issue of money and the number of children one shold have is a preserve of that person or couple. What is you can afford to have 5 children and still have surplus to save.
The one-child policy is rather stupid, I guess.
But I think it can work for stupid people on whose behalf that government can think and decide.

I do agree with that policy ,actually population control is very important so i think this policy must be strictly implemented

..i think everybody could decide on how many children(s) would they have...one child policy shouldn't be enacted as law since it already remove the basic rights or every couple in the globe...in fact any couple could create as many children as they want, provided however that they would also be responsible for that....

It depends, if that policy will be implemented in a country with too much population, then its a good thing. If its a country with small population, then its crazy.

It depends on so many things really. What is your financial status? Are both husband and wife willing toi have more than one children and so on? But I think the most important thing is to have children at the right time. I mean when you can give them all they want.

ya its true in country like india these policy should be adopted, like about 33% of indian population is extremely poor and mojority of them are childrens, and out of the rest 67% only if half of peoples choose have two childrens when of their own and one adopt and poor child so then the poverty of india would be 0.

I think it's one of the dumbest policies in the world! How many children one will have mainly depends on his/her freewill, physical ability, etc,so controlling it by any policy is certainly an unlawful act!May be in some countries where population groth rate is higher it is needed, but still,my answer to this policy is;'No,I do not accept this policy,It is a direct hit to my Freedom to live happily in this beautiful world!
