If money were no object where would you go and what would you do? Would it be for a short time or extended? I am not talking vacation I am really talking about fantasy. Something you have always wanted to do but never considered possible.
As for me.....I would take a trip back to Japan. I was there in the early 1960's while in the Navy. Aboard an aircraft carrier I was able to see several ports. I would love to see how it has changed.
I think I would also include Hong Kong. At that time it was an unbelievable and stark contrast between the haves and the have-nots. It would be interesting to see if that changed and how.
My grandfather never got more than 300 miles from his home town. I have traveled much and I feel he missed out on so much. This is such a fantastic world to see.

I would move up to Michigan right on the lake front. I grew up there and miss it all the time. I've thought of moving back but lake front property is extremely expensive in the area where I'd want to live and I'd have to move my Mom's side of the family up there too.
Have a great day!!
AT PEACE WITHIN

I would like a series of extended trips to different parts of the world. The first of these would be to South America to view the nature of the Galapagos Islands, walk the Inca Trail and see the gorgeous Caribbean coastline. The second trip would be around Southern Africa, seeing the majestic Victoria Falls, the wildlife of Zimbabwe, the palm fringed coastline and islands of Mozambique, the stunning Garden Route and the beauty of Cape Town. The third trip would be an epic rail journey from England to Vietnam via the exciting Trans Siberian Railway. Now for the real fantasy, I would buy a yacht and sail back home via the South Pacific Islands.

Wow I do think you have put some time into thinking about where and what to do. LOL
Thank would be a fantastic trip. All of them.
I would worry however about the fantasy part. *smile*
While it would be a truly wonderful trip to sail the South pacific, and I would love to go with you, I have been in the Pacific when it was not so peaceful.
It was off the coast of Canada however but until you have been at sea in a really bad storm you have never ever seen mother nature at her worst.
When you can stand at one end of four hanger bays on an aircraft carrier and watch each of those bays moving in a different direction being in a sail boat would not be fun.
But the idea of that trip is fantastic because you would see some wondrous things.

well i think it would be pretty amazing to fly into space and have all mylotter friends join me,and have a reunion to meet everyone.i think it would be pretty neat to be able to float around instead of driving, and not have to worry about someone running a red light into you or anything,we would just have to worry about bumping each other.but i would also love to go to africa to see all the amazing animals, and maybe take one home lol.take care my friend.

Well you are right the only concern you would have then would be bumping into each other. Now some of us would not think that a problem at all. LOL
But the feeling of weightlessness would indeed be intriguing.
Thank you for your response my friend.
