How to tell your parents that you're dating a guy they don't like?

I've been wondering how am I going to tell my folks about the person I've been dating?Plus the fact that they don't want me to get involved yet in a relationship?Suggestions, anyone?PS: photo below is me and my monkey (the guy).. hahahah!

I think it's always best to be honest, even if you're worried about how they will respond. I don't know how old you are, but as a mom with teen girls, my main concern is their well-being. When I don't like a guy, it's for a good reason. Best wishes.

Hello there. Well, Im 18 yo right now. The thing is, my folks don't want me to get a bf until I graduated college.. HOW TERRIBLE!! And I think it's unfair?

That does sound strict, but I'm sure they are only trying to do what they think is best for you. Do you think you can sit down and talk to them about this, tell them how you feel?

I think I can, but Im not sure of what they might say. Or how they might react though. ~_^
