curious about the movie 300 or 3000?

300 is a great movie in my opinion. I don't think it is quite for everyone though. Knowing that you liked Troy, I would say that you definately should see 300. 300 is a lot more gorrie and grusome. There is lots of blood and guts. Right after seeing 300, I said it was better than Troy. But now that I have seen 300 and Troy both several times, I'd say that Troy is the better movie. Some of my friends disagree with me though. The story is done well in 300 in my opinion, but they bring some unrealistic parts into the movie which I wish they would have left out. As for your question, I would definately recommend it to you. Hope this helps!

I am not going to have the popular opinion here. No I didn't like 300 and no I wouldn't recommend it. I love how the movie has the Sin City feel and look to it. I think it's very artisitc and draws the eye to the small things that are intricate and vital to notice. I don't like how the men are not wearing the armour that historically speaking they should. I know they had to put these burly muscular men out there on the screen in loinclothes for the ladies to "ooh lala" but I hate that it isn't historically sound in that respect. I don't go to a movie to see 3/4 nekkid men I go to watch a story. If I want to see an "oh lala" man I will look at my boyfriend. I also thought that the movie was very anti-climactic which bothers me to no end. I think that was the single most disappointing point in the movie. We get all of this amazing buildup for it to fizzle and end abruptly. BOOOOOOOO!!!!! Two thumbs down! But then again, I hated Troy too.

I can't give a first-hand opinion because I did not see either film. However, I believe if you enjoyed Troy you will enjoy 300, because they are the same genre and I have reason to think they are equal in merit, however I could be totally wrong...! I haven't seen Troy yet but I have seen 300. We have 300 on blue ray and it's awesome. It's got a ton of action and a great storyline. It's very much worth seeing.

no, it is 300. 300 is an absolutely terrific movie. the attitude, the valour the spartans display send a chill down my spine. so much to keep their honour. they challenged and even demured a person who projected himself as god. i think they were bogged down by the wrong priests who just had no respect for these warriors. my personal favorite line in the movie when the king says : SPARTANS NEVER RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!. the greatest sequence when the king as a young lad fights the beast and also , when he kicks the intruder into the well..

Those are not exactly my kind of movies so I wasn't expecting to enjoy 300 as much as I did. I sat down just to be some company but to be honest was ready to kind of take a nap while hubby and kids watched it, but from the beginning I was glued to the screen and the nap was forgotten. As for troy it was a good movie as well. I think I didn't enjoy it as much becasue my daughter kept watching it again and again LOL

This movie is called 300. In the past I also heard it was a good movie. After I watched it, I didn't think it was as good as I imagined. Perhaps Troy is better because it has famous actors.

yeah! 300 worth to see! in comparsison with 'troy', 300 is a bit! faster den dat! n also it's nt hidden dos 2ds n 3ds graphics! wow! dat v missed in 'troy' but yeah! some parts of '300' de added in it dont needed der!....... ina sec talk! u shld watch '300' once! n den u can make a better opinion! be happy!
