Most annoying habbits of our significant other...

Toilet seat left up! - I think many women can recognize THIS picture! :)

What are the things your significant other does that just makes your skin crawl?? What are the things you do that make your partners skin crawl? My other half is generally pretty good. We've put up with each other for six and a half years so i think we've learnt not to do the things that irritate one another. I however don't like it when he leaves magazines laying around, or leaves his toenail cuttings on the floor or table or where ever he decides to put them (he used to put them straight in the bin, but i think he knows it annoys me so he does it on purpose!). Oh and sometimes he leaves the toilet seat up, that's annoying! I think most women will agree on that one! haha. He absolutely hates it when i scrape a fork or spoon on my teeth. Like if im eating and trying to get everything off the fork, i'll use my teeth ever so gently and he hates the noise it makes. He also doesn't like the fact that i don't like cleaning, and will leave things to the last minute, instead of just keeping the house extremely tidy. So what's your worst habbit or your partners? This could get interesting:)

I have been married for 23 years so we both have things we HATE that the other does but we have to deal with them. I don't like when he turns sports on TV then promptly falls asleep with the remote in his hand. I am stuck watching football and he is sleeping. I hate that! I don't like little things like the fact that he won't put out all the recyclables. Just some. I don't know why but he has a certain amount that he feels is right. What's up with that? And when he eats ice cream, when he is done, he HAS to take the spoon and scape the bowl for the last tiny weeeeny bit. After a while, I yell "GET SOME MORE!" but he just laughs because he knows it makes me crazy. Oh I do lots of things that bother him. I have loads of "stuff" everywhere - beauty stuff, makeup, etc. and he hates it. He complains all the time about how much stuff I have everywhere. He hates when I insist on fountain diet soda instead of canned or bottled. He just doesn't get that I really like the fizzy stuff in a cup with a straw. He also REALLY hates when I talk about having my period in a graphic way. He can handle me saying I have cramps but when I go on to describe how heavy the flow is or other things, he can't take it. Naturally, I have to say things JUST to make him squirm and he gets me back by holding that remote and sleeping while football is on. Ahh, ain't love grand? lol.

Oh and can't forget when you actually DO get control of that ellusive remote control, you put it onto something you want to watch, get into it, then during a commercial break you go make yourself a cup of tea or something, and he switches channels!! Because apparently you weren't watching it... grrrr. hehe.

Yes! My partner snores also. Only when he's on his back, i've learnt that if he starts i just nudge him back onto his side. But sometimes he'll shock me and snore even on his side! Or even his stomach. He's also started hogging the bed, and i get neft with no room at all, and being nearly 9 months pregnant, i need all the room i can get!

My husband does small things that irritate me, but nothing major or deliberate. I guess the most annoying thing is that when he showers, he leaves his dirty clothes on the bathroom counter. It's frustrating. I've tried not putting them in the laundry for him, and then they stay there for days.

Oh my partner tried that. Except only on the bathroom floor. So i just left his clothes unwashed. And when he asked where his clean clothes were, i said there were no dirty ones to clean... He then said they were in the bathroom, and i would say well that's not where the dirty clothes basket is, is it? He soon learnt. He also started doing his own laundry out of it too. Which was great! Be strong! hehe

Farting. I can't stand the farting. I won't expound on that. I think you know what I mean. As for the toilet seat, it's the visitors that leave it up. I have pointed out to my family members that when you flush the toilet the water and bacteria sprays out of the toilet and could be landing on YOUR toothbrush. Even when I am in a public washroom, if there is a lid on the toilet I will put it down before flushing. Those toilets can make a real splash. Think about it. It seems only natural to me to close the lid before flushing. Why can't anyone else figure that one out?

Oh yes, the farting! How could i have forgotten to add that one! I really hate it when he does it under the covers of the bed, and then asks for a cuddle.... so innocently i give him a cuddle (because i can never refuse a cuddle) and he shoves the blanket over my head! Men! And it does make sense to close the lid tothe toilet, that's what its there for! He used to be really good with closing it, but now when he'sin a hurry he doesn't bother, just forgets. I'm just glad that our toilet is seperate from our bathroom, so germs can't splash out onto our tooth brushes!

The ability to ask me a question while I'm asleep and I don't mean beginning stages of sleep - he yanks me out of deep sleep to ask a question I think can wait till I'm awake. Other various things is he has a tendency to be a neat freak. When he cleans up; I can't find stuff for a week or weeks later.

I know, what's up with that? I swear my other half does it on purpose! He knows that if he talks to me when i'm semi unconcious that it'll wake me up properly, then take me ages to fall back asleep. This morning i needed the toilet before he got up for work, i walked out to the toilet, didn't turn on any lights because i didnt want to wake up properly, i wanted to stay in that semi concious state of mind, then i got back to bed and he had turned the light on in the bedroom!!! Then he tried talking to me. Not happy! But i did get to fall back asleep eventually once he'd gone to work.

Let's see.... When I spend all day cleaning the house and he comes home from work and leaves his clothes and stuff all over the living room floor, when he tells me that he is going to "take care of something, don't worry about it" so I don't do it, and a week later it's still not done, when he moves my stuff and can't remember where he put it! Oh, when he wants to watch a movie...meaning put a movie on so he can fall asleep and I end up watching it alone. The worst and most serious is his absolute irresponsibility with money. He hates the way I am always right, when I ignore him when we are arguing and when I refuse to drive. I'm sure theres more!

I hate to see toilet seats up, its truly annoying. My boyfriend is alo cool he does not really have those gruesome habits that I abhor. The habit of bieng late is what he usually do, I dont know if he does it on purpose but he is always late. Sometimes i leave him just to punish him for always being late.

I would say that my husband is most annoying because he leaves the toilet seat up, leaves his socks all over the house for me to pick up and the one that drives me nuts the most...he'll be right next to a garbage can and instead of throwing something in the garbage..he leaves it on the counter....I most annoy him when I bite my nails, when I get quiet when we are arguing and when I don't answer him when he's talking to me. =) But I do that to tick him off and he knows it.
