Books that I read in High School: Great Expectations, the Oddysey, Beowolf, Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet MacBeth and Julius Ceasar, The Lord of the Rings:The Fellowship of the Ring, The Great Gatsby, The Crucible. Those are the ones that I can remember. Also, when I was in the 7th grade, we had an assignment to read at least 8 books. I read 20. I love to read, which came in handy when I got to college. A few novels I had to read there: Candide (twice), Frankenstien, The Oddysey (again), Kafka's Metamorphosis, Hamlet, and at least 20 more I can't remember right now.

I read a lot of books in high school, but one I read in both high school and college (last year) was Frankenstein. Even though a lot of my classmates didn't understand what was going on because of the old fashioned language, I really enjoyed it. It was even better the second time! It's such a sad story and I always feel bad for the monster.
