As I mentioned in Marketing Strategies, inbiting people to free introductory seminars is one of the bestg way to generate interest from the media. It is also one of your best sources of potential income. People who may have heard about signing with babies willb e encouraged to attend as well as thos who know nothing about it and are jsut plain curious. Once you get people in the door it it your job to make baby signing sound so irresistible that they beg you to take their money to attne a paid workshop. When i name my classes I call them "seminar" if they are free subce it sound like people are getting a great deal of information at no cost I used the word "workshop" for paid classes since :worshop" seems more casual and friendly. Of course you may not agree and since this is our business, what you will call your classes is entirely up to you. and I would recommend having these sessions in neutral territory rather than your home since peopl e tend to feel more comfortable in public settings .This simply means t hat more will attend. Publicize your seminar however you can, Send prees releases to the media nad post flyers all over town. Get creative and don't be shy
