Why shouldn't drinking ages be lowered?

I admit I started to drink way back in my senior days. Why does the government is so strict having the quota age of 18? I think the alcohol laws should be ammended because the current law fails. What's your P.O.V here my friend?

To me, the drinking age is an important thing due to there needs to be some Rules and Regulations set in place to keep some order to the way things are just in life. For me, I feel we see too many underaged drinkers needing to go to AA as it is, so why lower the age? Yes, maybe in other countries is acceptable, but is it and the others around them responsible? That is my thoughts.

where i live (the United States) Wisconsin you have to be 21 to drink and not to mention be in a bar, if you are caught drinking under the age of 21 your in trouble and not to mention so are you parents... I think 21 is a good age for drinking.. And they did pick the right age for it.. 30 would be better though by that time most people are grown up and know responsibility.. ok that last part was a joke but really once they hit 30 they know more than when they are in their twenties younger twenties that is..

I don't drink, but I guess that people above eighteen in my country could drink in P.O.V. I still think that it is better to be 18 to go to P.O.V. because people under 18 cannot well control themselves once they drink. It is for the good of them.
