You cannot go into the military with money as a factor. I was in the army and to answer your question directly -- you will never ever be paid enough to defend your country which is something you will be trained to do. On the flip side, you will be paid in many other ways: education, discipline, health, friends, travel, leadership and much more. What you do on a regular basis depends on what career field you enter and where you are stationed. If you want to know more about the military go to www.military.com and read up. Recruiters are good but they tend to stretch the truth and put pressure on others to join. Do your research first before even talking to a recruiter. They hate that! Good luck.
