Have you ever considered to make a lot of money by playing at the casino? And if yes, than what kind of game would you choose? Ever won a lot? The reason why I am asking, is that I think that if you want to win a lot of money at the casino you will deffinetly lose. What do you think?

We enjoy going to the casino now and then, and my favorites are the slot machines. Generally I play nickels; occasionally I will play quarters. I never expect to win much and I never take more money than I am willing to lose. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. I look at it for the entertainment value more than anything else.

I quite agree that you will definitely lose! The only people who make a living out of casinos are the people who run them, LOL.
Every casino, lottery, fruit machine has a 'payout percentage' 70%, 80%, 90% or even 95% ... meaning it will *on average* pay out that percentage to the people who 'invest'. If you played for long enough ... $100, $1000, $10,000 whatever, you would expect to get back that percentage of what you stake. In other words, you are always the loser in the long run.
Fruit machines and other systems, however, are often 'skewed' ... in other words not completely random. Under certain circumstances the odds are often better at the beginning of a 'game'. Fruit machines, for example, often give you a small win within the first $5 or $10 ... provided that nobody has played that machine for a while. You can often get better odds by playing up to that limit and quitting when you are 'up'. You can't do this with a live casino, however (if they are playing above board). You have to remember that online casinos are able to know your every bid and move ... they hold ALL the cards (and know what you hold as well). They are NOT charities! They exist to make money out of you and to attract you with the promise of big prizes and the carrot of smaller ones (which are so designed to be small enough to 're-invest').

I don't like to gamble. Usually at a casino, the odds are against you. I have had friends win decent sums of money (and be smart enough to take their winnings and go home) but I also know gambling can be a real money loser. I work hard for the money I earn, I'd rather not give it away to a casino! Granted, I'll never win the lottery if I don't play, but I'm OK with that.

I have a friend who works in casino but he resign because iits getting dangerous. He said if you want to win online casino dont play more than 2-3 hours. Or you'll surelly Lose. When betting try not to be tempted to win big but to win the game.
I play roulette using the double up system betting. It works and i usually win $50-100 in 2 hrs. Then i stop and wait for the next day.

If you go to the casino always thinking that you will win a lot of money, you have a game problem :P
When I go to the Casino it's to play for fun. I never won more then 50$, but I had play 40$ to win that lol. The most I know someone who won is my boyfried mother who won 500$ at my birthday. I was so happy for her because she really needed that money :)

Hi there buddy, what's been up to lately?
Well, i don't consider Casino to make money at all.
Why? Well for me it's a bad and difficult hobby that anybody should not get addicted with.
Playing in Casino "SOMETIMES" like once or twice in a month is fine.
But i never consider that playing in Casino will make me money.
No way! I don't wanna be addicted with that, i prefer to work so hard rather than be addicted with that kind of thing.
And actually, i am not playing in Casino, i tried it once or twice before i think but i wanna discipline myself of playing in Casino indeed.
Have a nice day ahead and happy posting and earning here in myLot.
Godspeed,
Kiko

Hi Soleya..
Truly i havenot played casino for real money, as from my friends experience.. i have concluded, that it is easy to lose money than to make money.
Also, the LUCK FACTOR is always a mile away, in my case.. So the chances of losing my money is brighter than of making some..
BTW, have you played online lotto games?

Since we live in a resort town with many casinos, they do provide entertainment. When visitors come to town we can take them for a nice buffet costing a fraction of what comparable food would cost on the outside. So we don't make any money playing the games of "chance" but we save a lot of money by using the casinos for entertainment. In order to earn a living gambling, I think someone would have to have excellent math skills and be a master of many disguises, as well.
I believe that the reason many people think they are ahead in their gambling is that there is an inclination for people to remember one or two "big" wins, but they don't bother to add up all of the losses. If everyone kept an exact record of what they won and lost, they probably would not be having so much fun. In moderation, however, recreational gambling can provide quite a bit of amusement for those who enjoy it. I have several friends who like to play the games and their evenings cost, on the average, no more than dinner and a movie would cost them elsewhere. Actually, since the parking is free, they may be a little ahead. But my friends are able to do this because they are disciplined and also because they do not drink to excess.
