After a meal, give her a gift, a small box that she can easily mistake for a wedding ring. Put earrings or whatever inside it and look at her reaction. Then pre-order a cake to be served after dessert and have the question "Will you marry me?" written on it and the ring in the center of the cake.

Hi lucky! Proposing a marriage to a girl is not as difficult as you think it is. Some marriage proposal involves a lot of expenses, like when it is down in a posh hotel restaurant (like those in the movies) or when the question is asked in the most romantic places like venice eiffel tower and all (well its expensive if youll do it on those places and you live way far from it - u know plane cost and hotel expenses and all) but there are some which are less expensive and very simple BUT indeed made a mark to a woman's heart. There are hundreds of imaginative ways to give the ring and pop the question like there was this guy who just place each word of the question in the 5 elevator doors of her building and the me was there on her condo unit door with her man right there standing with the ring. simple yet very memorable. Im sure whatever ways you'll come up to she will truly appreciate coz we girls believes that a guy who takes time to carefully plan out his proposal makes his gil proud and cherished.
