I love chocolate!! But would I be tempted to eat a grasshopper dipped in chocolate. I will try anything once. I would probably have to eat without looking at it though.Because I'm not sure I would like to see the insides of a grasshopper as I ate it. Insects do have some protein benefits. If you were lost out in the woods and needed to eat. Eat an insect or two. lol. But thats getting off subject. Would you be tempted to eat a chocolate covered grasshopper or any insect dipped in chocolate?

Well I think this falls under the "extreme delicacies" category, I would love to try some for sure!;)
Chocolate might lessen the taste of the grasshopper and most of the people now are used to this kinds of delicacies, I would surely love to try some.
Sometimes, the things or stuffs we take for granted, will be the one's that will save us come emergency times!;)

Ok so mix grsshopper with your favorite food. You are starving and thats all you have to eat. Have you ever been REALLY hungry?? So hungry that anything to eat would be good. I have been that hungry. I would probably have eaten a choclate covered grasshopper if thats all I had. lol

What a crazy question!, i just answered one and here is another. I won't eat, if you want to make me eat, first give me the chocolate, i'll eat any and later on tell me about the grasshopper inside. I'll not vomit. But if i know at the start itself about the hidden grasshopper, i'll not eat.
What protein will you get from a grasshopper, 0.1gram?:p
Enough?:p
You'll have to eat hundreds of chocolates to get the sufficient amount of protein and that's too bad for oyur health:p

As much as I like chocolate and I'm the worlds greatest chocoholic I would have to draw a line at insects coated in chocolate. I actually buy crickets to feed our frogs and I can't bear touching the things with their antennae let alone ewww doesn't bear thinking about, definitely pass on this, although I'm sure my frogs would agree too!

I wouldn't want to dip an insect into chocolate. It doesn't sound like it tastes good.

I'm not into exotic food, and nothing can tempt me into eating grasshoppers, worms, cockroaches, ants or beetles, no matter how they are done - fried, boiled, sugared or covered in chocolate. To me they are Yuks!! Even if you offer to pay me, I will not be tempted. The only way I'm ever gonna eat these is if I am stranded in the desert or forest, or I am on the Fear Factor programme.

HECK NOOOOO! lol YUCK! lol ICK!! I think I'd starve first before even thinking of tasting any type of insect. I can't imagine having to do such a thing but I have heard they're nutritious and all but still the very idea of it makes me sick to my stomach. I had accidently swallowed a bug that flew into my mouth once and got so sick from it just from the thought of it.

I'm not the best fan of chocolate although I enjoy it every once in a while. As for grasshopers.. I"m not sure, I would probably give it a try, and who knows, maybe they are actually tasty LOL I like crunchy so maybe it wouldn't be too bad :)
For me the problem is that I don't really like insects too much, so it wasn't as much a problem of worrying about taste but more the fact that I don't like insects to begin with :)
