Did your ran while you saw the angry dog on the street!!!

You should never run. Thats why he chased you. You couldn't have outrun him . Just walk away calmly. I think there should be a course in animal handling in schools to teach people not to fear them & how to handle them in such situations.

Don't run! Running will only make the dog want to chase you. I always stand up to a dog that is trying to intimidate me; I end up intimidating him. The only way this won't work is if there is a pack of dogs, then I wouldn't suggest standing up to them because they have more confidence while in a pack. Usually if a dog approaches me and begins to bark or threaten me I run at them and they run away.
