dogs or cats?

what do you prefer between the two? dogs which were said to be the man's bestfriend? that is loyal, will protect you and could help you in some ways? or the cats which were very important to some nations that said to be lucky pet which is so cute and adorable

I am more of a cat person. As is my man. We have two kittens right now. Valentine and Autumn. Valentine is orange and white, and Autumn is calico. We love them as if they were our own kids! We favor cats because they are cleaner for the most part, they dont drool, and they dont eat their own poop.....lol
