Hi, i personally would love to watch a combination of things, depending on what mood i am in. If i have more time and am free, like on the weekends or holidays, i would go in for a nice romantic or story-drama kind of a movie. If i dont have that kind of time and my time slots are fixed, which is normally the case during the weekdays, then i normally stick to my serials, 2-3 of them which come from a fixed duration and in between them, i manage to cook and do my other house work as well. So while i am watching television, being a working woman, and a house wife in the evenings too, i need to manage the timings of all the things so that i can enjoy my television hours too.
We have made different slots for each member of our family, so that each one gets to see their favourite programmes at various times, and each one enjoys them as well. Mine are the mainly the serials, and movies while i see the news along with my husbband to keep i touch and watch a little cartoons and discovery channel, infact hear them out when am working, while my kids see that.

Yes, at ties it gets really tough, but thats why we made a plan, so that each one of us gets their share to watch what they like, as we have just on television and i think this works best, of course if we are all watching a common programme, my dear husband has no say !! Thanks for marking this as the best response, i appreciate that, have a nice day :)
