Everyone should be vain. How can you love others if you can't love yourself? If everyone has high self-esteem why should it bother them that someone else does, too? We should all think highly of ourselves and highly of others, wherever possible, as well.
Once at a horrible job, one of the bosses used to go around telling everyone they should be more humble. He thought he was humble, but in truth he was so vain about his alleged humility that he was completely insufferable. Bosses in particular should try to build their subordinates up, not tear them down, don't you think?
Your timing is perfect because my most recent vain moment was just now when I started a new discussion here on myLot about having earned my first red star. That may have been a little too vain, but I wanted all my myLot friends to notice!

It was my ignorance because I didn't realize it was against the rules to start a discussion about one's feelings regarding the star! Someone complained and that discussion was taken off, but I can still be vain, as apparently they did not take away my star (at least not yet) lol.
After you reach 100 comments they will give you a star, too, which represents a rating. I guess they explain it somewhere in the guidelines. As your ratings get higher the color of the star changes. Even better, when you get to 500 comments then you can cut and paste and upload photos. That is when the fun really begins!

I used to be really bad about this. I am not so much anymore allthough I do love looking at myself...I don't feel I'm as bad as I used to be. No certain moments to share. I'm not sure that it's a sin? I do however feel that it can make a person ugly if not controlled.

It could get a person ugly? What do you mean? Is that pertained physically or psychologically?
Well, I think there's nothing wron with being vain. I mean, if it's tollerable in nature, why not? Just sop if your already affecting other people. But as long as you don't, we must learn to avoid being affected by other people. ~_^
