I have read in many ebay auctions , we do not ship to germany .
and recently I received an email from a guy who wants to purchase 10 perfumes and to ship them to germany , mind you he has 100% positive feedback and has been a member for two years or so .
What shall I do , what is wrong with germany , is it becoming the new nigeria ??

by heck.
It's a fairly obvious reason why people don't send to germany or italy, or romania or even the usa.
Once the parcel leaves this country anything can happen to it and it's easy for the buyer to recieve the parcel but then say that they have not recieved it depending how you have sent it of course.
It can cause hassel for you which is the last thing you want.
Most people find it just easier to sell to the uk only.
I used to sell to america as well as uk but that stopped when i had 3 claims for packages arriving without their contents which was total bull because i always packaged my items like bomb proof, then i got slapped with paypal claims straight away before i could even try to find out what had happened ( if anything ) and bang lost the items and the cash.

You don't really the only way you can help yourself is by sending it by expensive post so that it gets decent insurance and then you claim from the post office, though that is a lenghty process and also needs the buyers help with and if the buyer won't help it makes things hard also if the buyer can't be contacted because they are in another country your just stuffed.
The whole ebay system is set on trust and there are a minority who abuse that trust and who are just out to get things for free in any way they can no matter what they have to do to get it.
I think it's quite sad and very dissheartening that on a site which has such monopoly over the online auction scene that ebay don't do more to help both buyers and sellers, instead all they do is kee increasing prices and lessening services.
It's a sad sad state indeed.

Ive never seen "not shpping to germany"
but i have seen "not shipping to italy"
Now the not shipping to italy makes sense - higher postage costs, but gerymany i cant understand, maybe you should contact some user asking why they dont ship to germany!

They responded with the automated response that all transactions have to go through ebay to be able to protect me.Totally not my question
