Whenever I rode in a bus, in the car or in the airplane, I always see to it that I'm the one at the window seat. (So, between the two: it's window seat!!! *hehehe*) When we go out of town and visit our old folks, I want to be at the window seat on the way there. I love to feel the fresh air brushing on my face, see the green grass, look at the farm and the mango trees lining up like grade school students (*hehe*), and also the beaches! :) When a family member occupies that seat that I love, I will make a "sad-looking" and "can-you-please-give-me-a-favor" face and will ask if I can be the one to see on his/her seat. And, it always works! *hehehe* =p At the same time, when I'm in the plane, I want to see the clouds. (They're like cotton candies!!! *hehe*) When I watched the blue sky and the white clouds, I feel that heaven is just within my reach. And it's amazing to see the small islands and the wide blue ocean!!! Nature is really magnificent! *hehe* :) --- Take care everyone and God bless! \(",)_

hi sr0415 I love to occupy the window seat and like to peep outside and enjoy my travel.I think most people prefer window seat. Some of my friends say that its childish to request the seat when someone is seated near the window.I always argue iam not compelling them to give me the seat..as such iam only requesting..hope if they dont give..i dont mind and just sit in someother seat.. i commute by bus daily and most of the times i sit near the window.Sometimes i throw my bag before getting inside the bus to occupy my favourite place as buses in my city gets flooded with people as soon as it reaches the terminus.I love the gentle air and site seeing when iam travelling a long distance by sitting near the window.Have a wonderful day !suba

Hi suba! :) Hehe... We're almost the same. When one person never wants me to sit at the window, I try to look for others that are available. :)

i want to at window seat, it is more comfortable than other sites. first, i can see views out of the train, bus and plane. it makes time pass fast. second, it is easy to sleep when i sit at the window seat. if i take a long train, then i hope i can sit at the windown site, then i don't feel too tired and i can have a sleep on the train.

Yes, being near the window can give you a "comfy" feeling when you want to fall asleep. *hehe* And also, it's really just great sitting near the window because you can see the world "outside". take care!

HellO! I choose at the window seat. I like watching the views and it amuses me. Looking at nature is not the main reason why I like being at the window seat, it is beacuse I always sleep everytime i'm travelling be it in a bus, a car and an airplane, I always sleep. When i'm at the window seat the percentage of being disturbed by the other passenger is very slight. *smile*. Thanks for sharing. ciao! txel

I always looked out of the window as a kid, but generally I was dreaming I was crashing cars or blowing stuff up so...umm....good day to you too.

I like the aisle. All I do on planes or buses is sleep anyhow. The aisle lets me stretch my legs out a little. I have really bad knees, and they can't stay in a 90 deg angle for long. Even a movie theatre drives my knees nuts. So being in the aisle lets my legs stretch a little, and it lets me get up and walk around if my knees are in pain.

I also really like to sit by a window seat when I go on a plane because it is important for me to be able to see out. Sometimes I see a fantastic view or just white fluffy clouds in the sky. It is often very exciting to see the view when the plane lands. I always try to sit by the window on buses and trains as well. I like to see views of the beautiful countryside, villages, towns and cities. I especially enjoy seeing the coastline. Seeing blue ocean and small islands sounds lovely. I really enjoy traveling and can see so many great things from the window of buses and trains. In Fiji the bus had open windows and so there was no glass to get in the way. If the window looks dirty this can be annoying. I once traveled on a safari van in Africa. Yes, it was wonderful to sit by the window and see all the amazing wildlife.

Hi there. I agree nature is magnificent, for times like these I would like to ride a Harley Davidson on the long flat stretch of open road... But here in New Zealand theres alot of twisting, turning, hilly and short flat roads... Like you, I always have the window seat, actually we all, as theres only four of us in our family...
