Show the feelings or stay reserved?

I have been meeting so many new people recently, becuase how I already mentioned in other discussions, I just move to a new state.I just don't know sometimes what is better to show your feelings or stayed reserved?If I show my feelings the people mostly dissapoint me and I am frustrated.When I stay reserved the people think i am snobish, or shy.What is your suggestion?how do you deal with other people, who you just met?
