Fox News reported that there have been several hostage episodes taking place in different states since yesterday. It was said that in Kansas a man took a number of hostages and threatened to blow up the store if money was not wired into an account. It is believed that all of the incidents are being perpetrated by a goup of people or the same person. Has anyone else heard this?

I forget what city in Kansas it happened in, see, but it also happened in several other cities also. I heard it several times on the Fox news broadcast on radio.

No. I hadn't heard this but I was at my grandkids' football games until about 9:30 pm (EDT); I've seen our local 11 pm news and I've had it on the other news networks and so far heard nothing about this. Since it was on Fox then these incidents must be perpetrated by some group of crazy liberal Democrats and the rest of the media is refusing to report it! LOL

I listen to my radio at night, anniepa, and that is where I often hear much of the news before it comes out in the mainstream media. I would have ignored it had I only heard it once, but I did hear it reported several times. I will probably go to Matt Drudge's website and see if I can find anything further on it.

I listen to talk radio alot too. I'm sorry about my comment about Fox, I really have no problem with their news coverage, just that their political commentary is too one-sided. I still haven't heard or seen anything about these incidents. I'm curious now so if you hear any more let me know!
