My grandmother is a complete Bingo addict. She knows every caller in town and there is not a Hall within 50 miles where the waitresses don't know how she likes her coffee. She plays easily 3 sessions a day and sometimes 4 on the weekends. She has somehow gotten my mother and sister in on it as well. I went by one of her haunts to pick up my nephew and was amazed that this Bingo (Gambling) hall had a nursery for small children. Should I be concerned with this addiction and the fact that my 5 year old nephew is growing up in a Bingo Hall?

Yes, you really should be concern about your grandmother an nephew.I had a friend who played bingo everynight.an she ended up takeing a loan out on her house, just so she would have money to play bingo. Her poor husband was working for nothing.she would even take his whole paycheck to play bingo. That is an addiction" i know you dont want to see your grandmother lose everything..i have never seen a bingo hall with a nursery."boy, they think of everything to get your money"..I was rasied in a pool hall, an watched my dad gamble on pool."maybe that why i like to gamble.Your nephew need to stay at home when she bingos.maybe you could babysit him..

My feelings exactly. I remember as a child my father taking me to a pool hall to drag my Uncle out. It is one of my earliest memories. Granny swears its not a problem since she is retired, has no debts and claims this is her social life. I think it is sick though having a nursery in a gambling establishment.
