But what about women who aren't stay at home moms? I don't understand why you would assume that all women are, when there are many women that work outside of the home as well. What's really frustrating is that even women who have full-time jobs out of the home often still wind up stuck with all the household chores as well. I have many friends who have this problem, that they work full-time outside the home, and then come home and do all the home stuff as well, while their husband expects to rest or have fun when he gets home.
I'm pretty lucky to have a husband who believes in sharing all of those household tasks, so I don't think one of us works harder than the other.

Lecanis, I am so with you on this topic, you answered this just as I would. I work full time and so does my husband. I cook and he cleans. We fold laundry together. I dont think one of us works harder than the other. I feel bad for women who let their men treat them like crap and who put up with working full time plus doing all the house stuff. This guy who posted needs to wake up...many households have double income, and not every woman is a housewife.

*nods* I feel really sorry for women who let their husbands do that as well. I know many of them too, sadly, women who work full-time and then come home and still do all the household stuff, because their husbands say it's "woman stuff" and below them.
What's really funny for me is that my husband is essentially teaching me to cook. I never really had a chance to learn as a child, and he's a great cook, so every time I go to cook something new he helps. =)

In most cases, women almost always do household chores. But in most cases, like in the city where both women and men work, both shared in the chores. If still wihout kids, the woman cooks, clean the dishes, while the man wash clothes, iron and clean the house. Both must put his share in doing household chores. But if the man is working and he can afford get a maid and the woman only supervise the work.

I can't say it exactly because it will depend on their life styles -- both of them are married or single; married with children, new couples, etc. FYI, houseworks are often intangible. You have washed your clothes and ironed them but no one may see what you have done.

You must be very observable. I am like that without kids, i do have a loadsssss of work everyday. How i wish the night is long. But they have different loads, and anyhow, man can do the job of a women, like going to market, cooking breakfast, i had seen it with my father when we are still young.

Between married couples, definitely it is the woman or wife who has the most work. If she is a working wife, the work she perform is double. This is the common scenario.
The number 1 and 2 responder has already given the answer in detail.
However, in very seldom cases when the husband stays at home and do the housechores and the wife goes to work, the case is reversed, but this is very very seldom case.

If there were no stereotypes (mens work, womens work) there would be no difference, but if you were to go back to the old stereotypes, I'd definitely say that women do the most work. If it has been said in decades past that men bring home the bacon and women cook it, atleast men get the chance to retire. Women in traditional roles don't get that chance.

Comparing work from man and woman! who has the most work?
MY DUDE jcyap888 (174);
I like the word 'COMPARING' that you put up and placed it as the first word in a sentence. It really "jerks" my two fingers to fly on the keyboard.
The main thing here is the comparison only on one scope of work. I mean work. And not the category of works. Actually it just like King and Queen. Different tittle definitely give out different type of works.
Woman with her tittle WIFE of course that is the NOBLE duty for her to negotiates with. And she should not make any complaint or queries on that matter. That is why I called noble duty.
Man with his tittle HUSBAND will be obliged to create good management policy in the family, controlling and monitoring for all resources to develop family's future planning. Striving and struggling is his life for his family goodness is something aristocracy that should be admired by his wife.
My conclusion on this topic is man and woman having equilibrium in doing work. Only the physical activities make woman the most.
That is from me for now.
And excuse me.
