Garbage

What night do you take our your garbage? lol
We take ours out on Thursday, and our mayor just passed a new law, we cant take it out until after 5pm, and in the summer we cant take it out until after 7!!! Thats so stupid

Our trash gets picked up on Thursday, but we don't have any sect times to put trash out or have trash cans picked up. Our town has a population of 694, so I think we get by with a lot of things that larger towns have to put up with!
I have heard of set times that trashcans be on the curb. I like it for the fact that you don't have to see the cans all week long. Plus it offers less time that dogs (or even other animals) can get into the trash. I think it keeps the town cleaner. I know it is a pain, but in the long run it is worth it!!
PS: It is Thursday at 8:00pm and my empty trash can is still at the curb!! Shame on me!!

my problem with not being able to take it out until after a certain time is, what happens when we leave early that morning? if your trash is out early you get a $100.00 fine now!!

Holy Moly...That is a lot of money!! I bet you don't forget to abid by the times!!! I couldn't imagine such a steep fine!!

Starting next week it will set out Sunday for a Monday pickup. Used to be Tuesday night set out for Wednesday pickup.
