is Internet very important for education?

The internet contain all information you want or actually 99% of informations so it is up to you if you want to use it in good manar like in study and helpfull sites that is good if you want to use it to play and wast time it is bad of course you may use it in both sides but be balance and enjoy it

I think it all depends.Although learning through net has many advantages,different people get different results.For me,I just can't hold my concentration when I'm on the Internet:)

Everything will have a negative side. It depends on the person. I am sure most people use internet as an entertainment media. But many use it for good research work, projects. If u have heard of apache or sourceforge, perhaps u will be happy.

Yes I think internet is very important for education. A lot of useful information is available in the internet that can help in many ways research, surveys, etc. But we must also be careful for their are also a lot of bad, illegal things one can get on the internet so students should have the proper guidance and teaching in using the internet.

I think the Internet is very important for education. It really helped me a lot in my "thesis days" back in college. But I also think it is very dangerous. While it is true that it is easy to get informed using the Internet but how sure are we that that information is correct. So I think we should be careful because there are a lot of things going on in the WWW.

The internet has been extremely important for my own personal education. If there is anything that sparks my interest, I will look it up on the internet. If there are people I want to meet, i will look for them on the internet. If I want to meet people with a common interest, I have better luck finding them on the internet, than finding them in my area of the world.

In fact, i wíll say the internet is a very vital place for education for the following reasons, one can study online, do rearch using the internet, get teaching materials from the internet. for i've got many teaching materials from the internet and also learnt many teaching methodologies on the internet. if one doesn't want to travel to educate yourself but with internet you can take up that task in a different country studying while living in your own country. there are so many things one can do for studies using the internet as i've mentioned a few above. so dear mylotter the net is very important for education.

not much....... its importent but if we dont computer and intern et then no problem....... now a days we can improve our knowledge using internet, we can read leteset news, technologies, and many books etc... online for free

How much do you think study books can give you? Internet is a revolution. There are so much of information that needs to be communicated to the young generation and the text books alone can only do a little help. Internet can be the best teacher. It is not at all difficult to learn from internet and there is nothing wrong in taking advantage of this technology.
