childhood is so beautfull and so happy.
in childhood years, everyone loved you ,everyone try there best to make you happy,so you can be self-will ,you can do what you want to .
pure sky,big trees, countryside cows, and your grandma ,shining stars.
let's talk about our childhood and do not forget it for ever!
just because our childhood is the best time in our life!

I remember parts of my childhood but none of it is good...I remember all the trauma, I remember all the hurt and pain, the abuse on all levels etc but no I have no "pretty, happy" memories of my childhood at all..

Have you ever had a partner get mad at you for not having happy memories? Like you are focusing on the negatives and there must be something positive you're ignoring, even though really there are only negatives? I was in an argument with my husband over this today, and I really don't know what to think... have you ever had someone accuse you of "focusing on the negative" when really the negative is all there is?

Yes i do remember my childhood.I was adopted by my grand-parents when i was 1 1/2 years old.Although they werent my real parents,i still considered them to be.I enjoyed everything of lifes wonders as being a child, having friends, learning to do new things like blow a bubble with bubble gum and flying a kite.I loved animals and even tried to bring some home.It didnt work though.Making my very first special friend and learning to tie my shoe for the first thing. These are memories that will forever hold a special place in my heart and almost everyday i am taken back to a childhood memory that was special to me.:)

I love my childhood. Although there is nothing earthshaking happened, it is so sweet to remember and so funny to talk about.
Stories and experience always looks beautiful when in retrospect, what we have in our childhood is the same.
I got lost when I was about 4. My mom got frightened and the family is in a mess looking for me. Thank goodness, I was found, back to my dear Mom.
The experience has become a habitual topic when my mother recall my childhood. And I will be good to listen to her.
This among the most unforgetable experience which teach me to cherish what I possess now and enjoy the sweet living.

I remember it. It's a small world. A small village. Parents, neighbours and school. No worries.Just eating, playing and may be learning few things!!

None of my childhood is like this. In fact, I had a huge argument just today with someone over the fact that I can't seem to come up with any real positive childhood memories. I was abused by my family, hated by teachers and fellow students alike for reasons that weren't my fault... and occasionally completely abandoned and had to fend for myself.
Almost every bad thing I can think of that happened to me was in my childhood. I was physically, emotionally, and sexually abused. I was starved, beaten, shut in closets, left with strangers who harmed me.
My childhood is not the part of my life that I want to remember and focus on, but rather my adulthood, becuase I now have some control over what happens to me. I now have my own husband and child who love me, and whom I love. I have friends who are kind to me. This is what my lovely part of life is, not childhood.

Childhood days are good to reminisce. I had so much fun when I was a little child. My brothers and I used to fly kites in the open rice field. We used to catch fish in the nearby lake and climb up fruit bearing trees especially guava tree and eat the fruits while on the tree like monkeys.LOL.. those were the good old days.

what I remember about my childhood is we kept on moving from one place to another. My father's job kept us from moving almost every year. it was fun also but it was difficult on keeping our things, packing and unpacking, thanks anyway that I was still young so I did not do much about that. it was hard when its time to move again and you made special friends already. it was full of hi, hellos and goodbyes as well. though i was able to keep some of m childhood friends from different places until now.

No one i think can forget their childhood and there are so mnay beautiful memories attached to it. I think we grow up with a firm foundation from what we have learnt since our childhood only, what our parents have instilled into us, the values, the learning etc, all adds up to make us what we are today.
I distinctly remember my childhood days, we used to travel a lot with my dad, as he was in the army, and we enjoyed that to visit and see so many new places and it was an education in itself too. I remember how we started our schooling and how my parents were nearly in tears and what and how they explained things to me, i remember my grandmother and the goodies she used to make for me, the number of good friends i had and the fun we all used to have, how we used to cycle away to another end of the country and come late, making our parents worry. They were such good times, and so much has changed now. I think we were more extroverts then and did a lot of things around the house too,now a days kids have become more of introverts, and they either have the TV or other things within the house, making them less active etc, but i guess then the times were different from now. I do miss my childhood and those who are still in their childhood, i hope and wish that they learn to value and make the most of that time, as that time never comes back again.

I remember mine so well and still feel it's such a part of me....big fluffy white clouds, the smell of freshness in the air after a summer rain, making a wish on a falling star, a big beautiful rainbow, fresh cut grass, the taste of homegrown tomatoes, homemade chicken soup, the big Linden tree leaves we made tea from, the amusement park excitement and food, yummy,..hopping fences all the way down the street, climbing tree's to pick pears and cherries, all the nice neighbors (who always helped out if you needed it I might add), I could go on and on...it was a wonderful time in my life!
