Send this email to paypal itself. They love to get them and take care of this themselves. I make it a habit not to save sites like this in my faves. I always type in the address myself. I never use links from emails for situations such as ones dealing with money of any type. Send it to paypal administration asap. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

The only real way to know that it come from paypal is to look at the browser bar at the top of the page. Paypal always uses the "https", note the "s" at the end. This means secure, which the other fraudulant site cannot obtain. If at any time you think there is a question of it's validity, check for the secure, if it doesn't have the "s", report it to paypal. I have recieved at least 100 of these in the past few years. Paypal is always willing to go after these people for fraud.

hey when i tried to open that link my browser reported it as-- "Suspected Web Forgery(was written with a red signal) this page has been reported as a web forgery designed to trick users into sharing personal or financial information.Entering any personal information on this page may result in identity theft or other fraud. These types of web forgeries are used in scams known as phishing attacks,in which fraudulent web pages and emails are used to imitate sources you may trust.you can find out more about how Firefox protects you from phishing attacks." O my God if we don't use protective defenses God knows what can happen and how harmful internet exposure can become..really..thank you very much Debs_place..although my browser will take care of such scams but thanks i will always read the paypal mail carefully and not just reply to it or respond to it by seeing 'paypal' written..thanks..good day..

Paypal or Ebay will never ask for any personal information or identification, and will never ask you to log into your account through an email. This is basically called phishing...they are looking for information. If you receive one of these, such as above, you can send this back to Paypal at: spoof@paypal.com, and they will respond back to you......For Ebay it is spoof@ebay.com, and they too will respond back to you and let you know if it is real or fake.......I've done it quite a few times, they will contact you within a day or two to let you know what should or could be done.....take care.
