Are internet paid surveys legitimate? Can I get rich on the internet?

I was on the internet the other day and I stumbled upon a website that said that I can make money online by just filling out internet surveys on the interenet. The website as alot of testimonials from people who claim that this worked for them. Are paid surveys real? or are they another scam?
