what should I do?

today I spook to a friend of mine about the college course I am currently taking, well he told me that I have to reinrol because the head of the department left and he never forwarded the enrol forms my class gave in, the problem is that they never told any of us about the mix up and my friend only found out today through the college site. our class only has 8 people in it and the minimum number of students which can make up a class on a course at the college is 8, we all reapplyed and they said i was all taken care of, now we know its not there is a problem becuase 3 of the people can not be reached and tommorow is the last chance for use to reinrole. what I want to know is should I even bother and if not what can I do?, becuase if I try to find a new college I will not be able to take the course because of how late it is and being out of education for a year will not look good on a CV.
