I use to be afraid of investing money in a work from home job until I realized that so much of it will be given back to me for taxes.
Moreover if you go out of house..you have to pay to get to your job..gasoline, maintaining your car and wardrobe.
I use to say like others.."if I have to pay for my job ..I wont do it" ..
All along I have been doing this..though..for my full time job..It costs something to get something.
What you put into something you get out..
What are your thoughts? Are you afraid to invest in a work from home job?

I can see what you say..but when you are simply paying for a product not for the job..it's a whole different story.
Our company needs to know people who sell the product believe in it and you can believe in it without trying it..hence all reps must have at least the minimum unit of the product we sell
I am happy with the produt..it has done wonders!

Not all companies that ask up frees are asking you to waste money..would you say its a waste if in return for the money ..fees ..you pay ..you get something in return?
The latest program I joined only asked those who join to buy the smallest unit of the product we sell..each month.
You pay for good health..something we do all the time anyway:)

I think that many people are afraid because of the scams that are out there. Also I think many people looking for at home work are not working in a "real" job and have no money to invest in a at home business. I sold Avon once and signed up after Christmas when my grandparents gave me money as a gift. Unfortunately too many people sold it in my area already so I lost alot of money and stopped doing it.
That brings me to the next problem. At home business are a risk and many people can't afford that risk. Most of the time they do work out, but theres still a large chance that they will not.

At home companies are a risk..if they do not have stability..This company that I joined is registered bbb members and have paid out already over 400 million dollars to its members.

Yes Avon is pretty washed out..I remember trying it and another rep would steal customers I had made..
So like you I got out of the company..
I work full time but this part-time opp I ran into is doing great too:)

I agree a stable company is a good thing, and the best reason to work with them, but like in my case my company was so stable everyone was doing it.
I'm not saying that people should not invest in these programs, just that they should do some research first and find out who has been paid.

Hi
I totally agree with you,you have to be prepared to invest a little money.I have been scammed, and lost money more times than i care to remember,so what move on and try again. You should not let other people steele your dreams, stand up,brush yourself down and move on.I know make more money in one month than all the money i ever lost, you just have to find the right business for you, which is what i did.A lot of free sites are scam's aswell. If i can help one person achieve there goals in life, then that's great, and i also achieve mine.Be skeptical, but dont rule everything out.Remember all the succefull people in the world, did not get it right the first time.
good luck

You are so right..there is room for skepticism but not all companies are scams..We can't say all free offers are good or all offers regarding payment are bad;)

I believe I have already signed up to this one. And they keep sending me follow up emails. They sound so convincing but when they asked to buy their product I became skeptical. You see there are a lost of scam online. I just dont wanna be involved in a scam. And probably because i also dont have that much to invest anyway.

There are alot of gimmicks out there when it comes to that work from hom jobs. So how would one know if one is for real or not. You mentioned you get more from taxes, but what about the income when it's not tax time, what do you get from it then? Is it a regular salary? on a weekly or bi weekly basis?

If you look in my profile..it's weekly and will be the life time of the person who has chose the product.
I am happy either way..the product is worth what I pay..if it keeps me away from the doctor.

I think I like the idea but I don't have that big amount of money to invest. Actually, right now, I am investing on an investment site. Just very little amount from mylot earnings. I have invested in a site before and it turned out that they are scammed. So, all my money was lost though it is not that big but the thought of it really make me sad. But I still invested today, and hopefully they are reliable one.

Afraid - no,but feeling doubts - yes.I can't trust the first site I see without proof it's not a scam. I'm sure everyones afraid only because of this, to giva away money which they don't know where itis going, to who and why and if it will ever come back to them.If you have ever made such an investment and it wasn't a scam will you let mylotters know about this site?

Yes,every one is afraid of scamming and looting to some exent, especially when it comes to huge some of cash to lose without assurance of getting it back.
Well,i have not seen true ones for international people, only that that permits USA,CANADA,UK and so on!

Well the company I joined recently includes people in the UK, usa, phillipines, canada, sweden, germany and more..
The one requirement though to have license to sell is to order the minimum amount for yourself..
I can see that you sell a product better if you know what it is..I have also found people become curious and you end up selling more..if they see you taking this.
I have seen this with many new people who have signed up..
With the company I joined you are not paying for nothing..you pay and receive the product which is really good

well if the investment is not lost..it's simply investing in health..buying a product..then you are not losing your investment..
Some companies that seek sales reps ask this because you sell better a product you know.

Actually, this is a Great Article, and one more people actually could take time to consider. So many people are afraid to Invest in an online Business due to feeling it might be a SCAM or just overall afraid to try in fear that they might loose.
I have actually tried a couple of different Paid online Businesses in the past. They have all been learning experiences for me in one way or another. Actually what I have learned here from these I would not trade, and actually am doing 2 things now I really enjoy, and making $$ off of both of them.
What most people fail to realize is to make $$ off of an online Business it is work, but the rewards are truly worth it when you find yourself making more than you invest on them as well.
For now, I have to work outside the home my Reg. Full time job, and do my Online Businesses but maybe in time it can only be the just one. I am a fighter and will succeed.

I sort of work from home - I go to people's houses, though, so I still have gas and other car expenses.
I've been thinking about going to work at a 'regular' job, though. It's difficult to maintain a stable income, keep track of everything, and separate myself from my work - it would be nice to have a life.

I am afraid to invest in work at home programs because you cant tell the good from the scams. I have been scammed a couple of times. when I go out of the house to work I have a gaurenteed ammount of money that I bring home every week and there is no risk of losing money. :)

I'm currently looking for ways to work from the home. But most of the telecommute job sites online ask me to shell out cash. This reeks of a scam. They claim the money is for training, or to cover their hiring costs, or to show you are genuinely interested. Why not withold these fees from your first paycheck instead? Companies in the real world (as opposed to online) usually pay trainees/new hirees an allowance (instead of a full income) or a smaller entry level income. They don't ask the employees to take out their wallets when they're hired.

My point of view is that whenever as a newbie who wants to step out to work from home, i'm definitely scared as i do not know whether i'm able to earn as much as my fixed pay per month to cover my expenses. It is the feeling of insecurity ! Moreover, there's a lot of online scams and it is really frustrating to know after spending so much, still don't get the result as expected .

Because there are so many scams that come from that. I was scared to even join up on here.
