Devdas is a saga of a man,who loved, loved and jusy loved. Devdas (shah rukh khan) shared a magnetic childhood with his lovely playmate Paro (ashwariya roi) where supreme love was feli before it was even understood.When youth bekoned, the love intensifired. But, alas, a fateful moment of weakness on the part of Devdas created a permanent wall of sepration between them. unable to bear the agony of life without paro. Devdas made alchol is constant companion.Even the unfinching devotion of a beaytiful courtasan Chandermuki( Madhuri dixit), did not ease the headsche of losing Paro,It was only when hiss eyes closed to permanent sleep, did the pain begin to fade. He lefi behind a testimony of true love, thas was pure, cheste undermanding.... and thus immortal. Indeed love was his life... love makes him live on... A love immortalised, even as it dies...
