Do you ever wake up early like 5 am and know you have hours left you can sleep, but you can't go back to sleep? That happen to me this morning, so I have been hanging out on Mylot, and hanging out with my cats. What do you do with you extra morning hours when this happens to you?

Thankfully that doesn't happen to me very often, but when it does it's rather annoying. I'm wide awake when I first wake up, but then, a few hours later I'm rather tired but I can't take a nap because I have important things to do. So it kind of sucks actually. I usually just get up and do random things or stay in bed and kind of relax until I have to get up.

LOL, 5am is my normal time. I use to wake up at this time for no reason and try to go back to sleep, now I just up and fix the coffee at that time. I jump on mylot till time to get the kids up and I just stay on up for the rest of the day.

Well, it doesn't happen very often; but, depending on how early and who is home (my husband works some nights) I:
1) watch TV
2) get a snack
3) try to convince my cats it is NOT time for breakfast yet
4) go online and check email
5) play games
6) listen to CDs
7) bake

That does happen to me occasionally, Aurone. I will spend the time watching a movie if I have one that I have not yet watched, or, if I'm really feeling up, I will rearrange furniture. That is something I love to do.

It happens to me a lot. There's like this biological clock in my systems that lets me wake up around 3am. But thank God that most of the time i always ended sleeping.
But somethimes, out of scaring myself, I couldn't sleep anymore. hahaha. I'ts like being paranoid and thinking too much that my head and my body just kept on functioning and I couldn't get myself to sleep anymore.
But the best thing for me to do and to find my comfort position in bed, and after a minute, I know that Im already dreaming. ^_~

I have been waking at 5:30 lately. The alarm clock is set for 6! Dang nabbit. I usually just lay there and listen to the birds. Before the clock goes off, I wake my husband and set the alarm for 7, just in case I fall back asleep. There have been times when I did manage to fall asleep, but that doesn't happen too often.

Yes, sometimes that happens to me and I hate it! But if I can't go back to sleep, then I usually just get up and go online too.

I'm a night owl so if I don't have to work I usually go to bed around 3 or 4 am. I'm either up watching tv or on the internet. Usually I'm doing both on the computer while the TV is on. I've always stayed up late for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid I could stay up later than anyone else I was up while other's had long fallen asleep. I am tonight since it's 4:15am and I haven't been to bed yet. Lately I've been getting to bed at a decent hour, but I don't have to work tomorrow so it's ok.
