i know there are many final fantasy fans out there but its not my 'most favourite' game. not that i dont like the game. the game is actually very beautiful, the visuals are great and the gameplay keeps u wanting for more. but one of my favourite rpg series is 'suikoden'. the latest parts havent been that good but the first three, although not havving the best graphics, had an excellent gameplay and very very good storyline.
so has any1 else played suikoden? is it ur fav rpg? if not, which is ur favourite rpg game?

I thought Diablo was amazing when it came out, but the gameplay is a bit repetitious. I have vague memories of playing either Fallout or Fallout 2, which is fairly similar to Diablo, but with a bit more of variety.
I got a kick out of Morrowind, but the whole thing got a bit overwhelming, and I kept getting lost in the game. I've been playing a bit of Oblivion too, and I'm not sure if I think it's an improvement or not. These games offer amazing freedom, but they are so big you easily get lost and lose track of what you're doing.

well my favourite RPG would have 2 be elder scrolls 3:morrowind at the time it had great graphics an excellent storyline and it really dragged u in and made me feel as if i was really living a second life in another world. But now i play oblivion the 4th game out of the franchise and i think its good but it needed more of what morrowind had the good storyline and more mystery and more factions 2 join. Two world looks really good ill probaly get it wen i have a better graphics card. overall i love most RPG's

i have seen a lot of good reviews about oblivion and i must say that it looks very very realistic and also must be good to play. i really want to play this game but my computer doesnt really have the juice to support the extremely high graphic requirements.
i have to wait another year till i get a new computer or atleast a good graphic card that would support this game.

Finally I find someone who has the same opinion about Final fantasy as I do. Like you, it's not like I hate the game, I did get final fantasy XII just to see what the hype is about and I just didn't get it. Yeah, sure it's got great graphics and environments and a very clever storyline but that's about it. The gameplay is disappointing and too kiddish for my taste.
My favorite RPG has to be "diablo 2:lord of destruction". That's the only one I played in the series and according to me it's the best. I didn't play Suikoden but have heard good things about it, and one rpg that I really want to try is Oblivion especially oblivion IV: elder scrolls, which is also out on the 360. That's one of the first games I'll get when I get my 360, hopefully.

actually final fantasy XII is quite different from the previous final fantasy games. it has a different gameplay as the fights are in real time compared to turn-based fights of the previous final fantasy games. but i dont really like the story as it becomes too vague at times.
i am looking forward to play the oblivion IV (my computer doesnt have the juice to play this game :P).. but still cant decide if i should buy a 3D card for my computer or a 360..

It would be "DIABLO" for me. I don't know if you're familiar with it. If not, I highly recommend it. It's very entertaining and challenging. =) Graphics are good, too.

My husband has played 'Fable', 'Oblivion', and right now, he has 'Two Worlds'. I really like 'Fable'. 'Two Worlds' is cool too. The graphics are pretty impressive. I think the dialogue is a little cheesy though sometimes.
