Which do you think is more important"friendship or love"?

Friendship is important an a daily basis of course. However having a love will bring tenderness, intimacy and kindness which can last forever... and the friends become second to your love... thats what i am thinking. But i dont have a love at the moment, so mty friends are at the top!! haha bye!

You cannot befriend anyone untill and unless you there is love in your heart. You have to be very compassionate, kind, considerate and sweet to make someone, as your dear friend. Friendship and love can be two sides of the coin sometimes. I agree both are important and complement each other. Good Post!

I think that both go hand in hand, I don't think you can love someone without a certain level of friendship and you need a certain level of love for friends..

No love is possible without friendship. The best lovers in the world are those who are very good friends first and can talk to each other. If you are trying to weigh the love of your life with friendship on the other hand, both are equally necessary. Your lover may quit or hurt you and then it is the friend you will turn to or vice versa. Two sides of the same coin.

I guess you mean the latter one.So we should never answer "no friendship without love" to this question! In my opinion,friendship is the fundation stone of starting affection between two stanger.Friendship is the fundation stone of truelove(just between lovers).In other words,love(just between lovers) is the sublimation of friendship.Hence,love(....)is more important.I have great confidence that the best lovers are the best friends.But,you konw,truelove is unusual. I think friendship and love are two things which can't stand alone... Once you offered friendship to someone, you are also offering your love for that person.. Although friendship sometimes is just defined as a simple "companion", true friendship is a deeper relationship that can't be called "true" without love.

They're equally important but i think love has more affection than friendship due to the fact that someone you love, you're tempted to go beyond all measures to make that person feels your affection well. we know friendship is sharing affection as well but love's deeper than friendship.

Hi, you really got me, I don't know how to choose a better one between the two , since both are what that cheer me up in my life. If I really have to choose, love will be the answer,since she will the one who lives with me the rest of my life, though friends could also be very valuable and give me so much happiness to me:) Andy
