I always encounter beggars everytime I come to work. I dont know but I really dont trust them. As far as I can see they are really fit to work but why would they depend on others for money? And I heard that these beggars are controlled by a syndicate. So I better not give them money but sometimes I give my extra food to them especially on the old ones.

I give them food, especially fruit, to prevent scurvy as well.

beggers on the street are everywhere I do not give them money but some times I buy a burger and give it to them or tell them where the shelter is. I dont trust them either and sometime my instinct is to stay away and so I do. I find it safest to trust my instincts

Okay fortunately for you, you have obviously never been homeless.....I have...and yes, physically and mentally for that matter I was very capable of working...HOWEVER who is goin to hire a 15 yr old high school dropout, with no home address, no where to bath, no decent clothes to wear and so on? NOBODY....
So yes, I do help out the homeless when I can becuae I know how hard it is to live like that...

Before i used to give money to beggars specially street children but right now no more. Since i realized im not helping much, it made them dependent on begging fo rpeople instead of working or finding ways to earn. Right now its a law not to give to beggars instead try helping them to put into NGO or orphanage or catholic organizations.

Hi, i think a lot would depend upon the person you are and if the beggar is a genuine one or not. Mostly these beggars are frauds and are apart of some group as they make a lot of money just by begging, and they are absoloutely fit to work, byut are lazy or dont even want to try working, as they have this easy means of making money and troubling people to no end too.And if we do give them anything, we encourage them further to beg more and earn a living just by begging, so then we should stop giving them moeny as then alone will they take a job and work to earn their living, but this has to be done by everyone, as just one person not paying wont stp them from begging from other people too.
There are some beggars who are genuine too, either too old ones or those with some handicap or those with no limbs, they do need alms and help too, and i think we should give them moeny, as they couldnt find any job too.
But there are those people too who are very soft hearted, or just would give the beggars money so that they dont keep bothering them and any beggar they see, they tend to pay them and thus dont realise that they are encouraging them. So there are a a variety of people and depends on what nature they are of, and each person to their own preferences and choices too.
